This high-fidelity 3D model of the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 was created as a quick exercise in Blender to test tools and workflow efficiency.
I wanted to create a custom edition inspired by a cold-weather variant of the PM2. The "Winter Damascus" concept combines a layered damascus steel blade with a snow-patterned camo handle, resulting in a new yet realistic concept of a new edition for the PM2.
Modeled to real-world scale and built with clean topology, including the internal mechanism to ensure realistic functioning, making it ready for animation.
As a result of this exercise, what impressed me the most about Blender was the ability to quickly switch between tools within the same program, along with its fast, high-quality rendering capabilities.
